Beth Lily-Banks
Hailing from Darwen, Lancashire, Beth is a Manchester-based Actor and Writer and recent graduate of the Manchester School of Theatre. Prior to this she trained on her Foundation Degree at RADA, London. She recently performed in ‘Things That Divide Us’ as 53two in Manchester, and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at Hope Mill Theatre, where she was granted the opportunity to write a ‘Shakespearean monologue’
in amongst Shakespeare’s own words – something that gave her a real sense of fulfillment. This gave her a much needed confidence boost, igniting a passion to develop some of the writing she had been working on in private! She decided to apply for the generator project to create something special with a team of like-minded people after a long period of isolation in during the pandemic. Being working class, she feels it’s hard to find roles that represent real people and she is really keen to explore this on a new level. She is really excited to get started and is grateful to have been given a platform to develop in a really supportive environment! Thankyou OTW!
